Despite the fact that the final note in a solo is a glowing note, you will not earn the 1,000 points like you would at the end of a normal phrase.

This number is not affected by multiplier or overdrive. You will earn a bonus number of points at the end of a solo based on how many notes you hit in it. You will see your additional points for a brief moment on your screen when you hit it. When you hit a glowing note at the end of a phrase, you will earn the basic points just like any note but with an additional 1,000 points times your multiplier. You will also earn points for sustains (and again, bigger chords mean more points). Two note chords are worth double points, three note chords are worth triple, and four note chords (extremely rare, only spotted on one disc song and one DLC song) are worth quadruple points. Single notes are worth 500 points times your multiplier. Now here are a couple other things you may or may not know. Overdrive is very important as it doubles your multiplier, except when you’re on 5x your multiplier will go up to 11x instead of 10x while in overdrive. The longer your streak, the higher your multiplier gets, the more points you earn. So first, let’s talk about what you should already know assuming you’ve played the game before.

I’m just posting this here incase anyone were to Google something like this in the future. I know, this PSP game is extinct and if you are viewing this the day or the day after I posted this, chances are this information is not important to you.
